Environment Art for the game The Unfinished Swan. All of the original 3D art was made by myself and Miriam Nagi, with Art Direction by Hokyo Lim. This was initially released back in 2012 on PS3, though it has since been ported to ps4/vita/windows/iOS by other teams.
This environment art was from the first section of The Garden chapter. This is what most people think of when they think of The Unfinished Swan, the black and white splatting paint to reveal the world. The art style and game mechanics evolve based on the King's artistic path creating this world. As this is the first area of the game, it's also the first and most basic he created. The focus was on strong sillouettes and smart asset placement to work well with the splatting mechanic.
